In the Boston suburbs, game changer Matt DuPlessie has opened a new James Bond-themed adventure --- not quite theme park ride, "Espionage" is more like a live-action video game or walk through dungeon. "It's like a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' book that you are physically in," DuPlessie says. And he's got a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea steampunk adventure in the works. — By ethanfreak at 9:16 PM Tue

Night Time Lapse of Fire West of Boulder (http://www.youtube.com/w)

It seriously looks like you're staring into Hell. Dozens of structures lost, most of those probably homes. 3500 people evacuated so far. Thousands of acres burned. It's a bad situation that we folk of Colorado know to expect, but it surprises every time just how awesome (in the "awe" sense of the word) nature is. Also, one speculated cause is a collision with an RV and a propane tank, which is epic. No reports of injuries or fatalities (yay!). (Also I wasn't sure what category to put this in--time lapse=art, fire=nature...so I just put science and called it a day.) — By Annibal at 5:59 PM Tue

Greatest Fan Film ever to be made (http://www.youtube.com/w)

From the pages: "Naruto Shippuden: Dreamers Fight Hey guys, This is the new fan tribute my team and I have chosen to do next. Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto Series (Manga & Anime) has heavily inspired many of us so we thought it would be cool to try and translate a fight to a live action format. The short is being shot on the Canon EOS 7D and the budget is around $1000-$1200 **I saved up a little more for this one :) The run time should be around 20 minutes. You could say it acts as a live action filler. The battle will be between The Leaf's Naruto Uzamaki & Rock Lee and is set to release sometime in November. We're putting our all into this short and we really hope Naruto fans and the creators will enjoy what we've put together! Directed By: Christopher C. Cowan Starring: Donald Mills & Brendon Huor Choreography: Vonzell Carter, David 'Dax' Bauer, James Young, Christopher C. Cowan, Brendon Huor & Donald Mills Produced By: Ray Martinez & Christopher C. Rube Goldberg Room (http://www.youtube.com/w)

This room was constructed with the humor of Rube Goldberg cartoons in mind at the St. Louis City Museum. Developed organically, the room started with one exercycle on the bench and the thought, "What can this become?" Some Brits have been photographing Blair's book in "mischievously proper" book store sections, and posting it to a Facebook group called Subversively. Its now 10,000 members strong and growing. A reader explained: Imagine how Obama would be viewed if he had 65+ Senate seats, 100+ majority in Congress and after 8 years his main "achievements" were the Consumer Finance Bill and sending more troops into Afghanistan. That seems to be the reaction to Tony Blair's autobiography. — By ritholtz at 8:46 AM Tue
